Our 2020 clinic was held March 7-8 and featured World’s Grand Champion trainer Smith Lilly of Mercer Springs Farm in Princeton, WV. Smith, who also led our 2016 clinic, is no stranger to the winner’s circle. He and his talented wife Alexandra have trained many World Champions, including 3 Gaited WGC Tango’s Token Kiss, Fine Harness RWGC We Must Be Nuts, and 5 Gaited WGC He’s the Man. Smith has also put multiple amateur riders and junior horses in the show ring, with many blue and tricolor ribbons as a result. His book, “Saddle Seat Horsemanship,” is highly regarded as one of the best training guides for Saddle Seat horses.
